The sessions cover all strokes; freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke as well as starts and turns. Normally each session has a focus on one particular stroke and swimmers will practise drills to improve technique on that particular stroke. Generally younger swimmers will do shorter repeat distance of around 50m or 100m and when they are ready are encouraged to attend level 3 meets and club meets held through the year.
