Monnow swimmers have done themselves proud again at the SE Wales Sub Regional event in Newport.
A small band of swimmers turned out to compete in 23 events over the weekend and there were Personal Bests for Louis, Lucy and Alice. Joe put in a storming performance in the 50m Freestyle and won Silver.
On the second day Emily competed in the 100m Breaststroke, winning Gold with a time of 1:32.28, breaking a record that had stood for 4 years.
Next stop the Christmas Cracker when Monnow will be out in force.
